Screen manufacturer WiMedical donates 1,000 euros to the youth charity in Hegau

Customers of the medical technology manufacturer with a focus on cleaning and sterilisation screens were the trigger for this fundraising campaign. At the beginning of the corona crisis, medical masks were in short supply. It was asked whether WiMedical could obtain these at short notice through its medical technology network. Since WiMedical's technical focus is on the development and manufacture of reprocessing screens and special screen baskets for all CSSD and AEMP applications, especially for ophthalmic instruments, the idea was originally rejected.
However, customer requests did not abate and due to the well-functioning network, both 3-layer surgical masks and washable mouth and nose auxiliary masks of good quality and sufficient quantity could be procured at short notice. Since the managing directors Björn Wirth and Dr. Steffen Schabel themselves have two small children and you wanted to support needy children with the mask business, a fundraising campaign was launched without further ado in cooperation with the youth organization in Hegau (www.hegau-jugendwerk.de). WiMedical hands over the donation cheque to the Hegau-Jugendwerk. The positive result was now the handing over of the donation cheque in the amount of 1,000, - Euro to the Verein der Freunde der Hegau-Jungendwerk GmbH e.V. on 14.07.2020. As a further support, an additional 1,000 surgical masks were handed over as a gift for the great work of the youth organisation.
