50 years of Hegau-Jugendwerk Gailingen
WiMedical congratulates on the 50th anniversary
Life can hold strokes of fate in store. Even for children or young people. Whether illness or accident - the Hegau-Jugendwerk (HJW) helps young people get back on their feet. The facility in Gailingen is now 50 years old.
This was celebrated with a ceremony in the Hochrhein Hall in Gailingen. In keeping with the motto "yesterday-today-tomorrow", the occasion was used to present the work of the youth organization, to look back on successes and to set new goals. The See Sisters and Brothers" provided the musical framework.
50 years ago: a visionary step
Bernd Sieber, Chairman of the Management Board of the Gesundheitsverbund Landkreis Konstanz (GLKN), took over the welcoming. The GLKN also includes the HJW. He spoke about the beginnings of the Jugendwerk in the 70s.
"We were brave to plan such an event during the pandemic. It was also somewhat visionary that it would be possible to celebrate like this again. And it was a right decision. It was even more courageous to plan the HJW more than 50 years ago, and it was many times more visionary and many times more right," he said.
Sieber thanked all the employees of the HJW. They had made it a pearl in the rehabilitation landscape. Sieber was not the only one to find words of appreciation for the work of the HJW: Social Minister Manfred Lucha was present via video message. District Administrator Zeno Danner let it be known that the expert opinion on the future of the GLKN recommends "to leave the Jugendwerk alone".
HJW- Clock
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary celebration of the HJW on March 18, 2022, our managing director Björn Wirth presented the best congratulations of the entire company. In recognition of the terrific work of all those involved in the HJW, WiMedical produced a HJW clock which will find its place in the entrance area.
